Responsibilities: • Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills • Provide preventive maintenance work like replacing brake pads, adjusting fluids, rotating tires, completing oil changes, and servicing the air conditioning • Perform system inspections, test drives, and diagnostic tests to determine necessary repair work • Identify and address mechanical problems and malfunction codes found in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems • Continue learning and growing technical skills and opportunities • Complete preventive maintenance work on vehicles, including oil changes, air conditioning service, filling fluids, and replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and batteries • Identify and address mechanical problems and malfunction codes found in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems • Conduct test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests to determine automotive malfunctions • Work with team members to determine vehicle problems and solutions Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED equivalent required • Strong manual dexterity and proficiency with hand tools and other repair shop equipment is necessary • A valid driver’s license is necessary • Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are necessary • An associate's degree from a vocational or technical school and/or ASE certification are a plus Compensation: $55,000 - $100,000+ yearly DOE
