Seeking a Tire Technician to examine and evaluate worn or damaged tires on customer vehicles, as well as replace or fix them, and perform tire rotations and balancing. Effective communication skills and the ability to handle physically demanding duties are essential for this role. The ideal Tire Technician will demonstrate a swift and efficient work ethic while upholding industry standards. Monthly company luncheons and paid vacation eligibility after one year of service. Responsibilities: • Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry • Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians • Document all work performed on the repair order • Report any safety issues immediately to management • Promote teamwork to deliver on-time and accurate guest care during all operating hours • Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting • As a part of the Nikel team, you have an opportunity to go to college for free Qualifications: • Must have a valid Drivers License • Proven work experience as a Tire Technician • Attention to detail • Extensive knowledge of tire patterns and material composition • Ability to lift heavy objects • Ability to work in a crouched or standing position for extended periods Compensation: $14 - $15 hourly
