COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client, the San Francisco Terminal Equipment Company, LLC (SFOTEC) is responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and services at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) including all terminal, landside, and airside operations and we are looking for a Senior Manager of Aviation & Facilities. Experience working in commercial aviation is required.
In this roll, you'll be directly responsible for the operation and maintenance of Aeronautical Equipment and Facilities within the scope of SFOTEC. You'll report to the Managing Director with provide updates and reports related to the operation of the Terminal and Equipment. In addition to the Managing Director, you'll collaborate with the Director of Operations to ensure the success of SFOTEC:
Additional RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Representing the Managing Director and SFOTEC leadership as necessary.
Knowledge of the operating documents including leases, contracts, agreements, and other aspects of the Terminal facilities.
Develop and maintain relationships with SFOTEC Executive Committee, SFOTEC Member Airlines, Non-Member Airlines, SFOTEC Service Contractors, SFO International Airport Authority (SFIAA) and other city, state, and federal agencies.
Provide leadership and direction to the contracted operation and maintenance personnel fostering a positive, high-performing work environment.
Oversight of the operatons and maintenance of consortium aeronautical equipment including all gate, security, and baggage systems.
Management of SFOTEC contracted maintenance service providers. Monitor and track their performance against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report on the performance of the contracted providers against the agreed KPIs.
Prepare and update contingency plans and procedures in case of system outages or failures.
Oversight of parts inventory list, ensuring compliance with all tracking and accountability requirements.
Review daily service and equipment report logs. Follow up on any equipment/system operation or maintenance related issues with concerned management of the contracted providers.
Conduct audits and system assessments to ensure compliance with established service levels for performance, reliability, serviceability and safety.
Anaylze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the aeronautical equipment and systems.
Preferred EXPERIENCE and BACKGROUND
Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations, engineering or equipment maintenance at a large airport
Minumum of 4 years of supervisory experience
Naturally collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
