We currently have an immediate need for Assistant Project Manager, Corporate Reputation on the WEST COAST. This role is open to multiple Ipsos locations, including SAN FRANCISCO, CA, CULVER CITY, CA, SUNNYVALE, CA AND SEATTLE, WA.
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for management of the full lifecycle of research programs, including the coordination of global surveys from design through to data analysis/ results presentations. This individual collaborates with senior team members and clients to understand key business issues/needs and then makes actionable recommendations on optimal design, execution and analysis.
POSITION SUMMARY
MAKING PROJECTS HAPPEN: Manages and coordinates all aspects of the research process, ensuring delivery of high-quality insights on time and on budget. Work collaboratively with senior team members on research design, independently leads questionnaire development and project management, manages the preparation of client reports and presentations.
GETTING INTO THE CLIENT’S BUSINESS: Developing an understanding of our clients’ business issues and the industries in which they operate. Demonstrate an ability to lead strategic conversations with current clients.
SHOW OFF YOUR SKILLS: As you progress and develop, you will get more ownership over analysis and reporting, participate more heavily in new business efforts, take a lead role in client relationships, and further develop presentation skills.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in a related major such as business management, marketing or communications or equivalent experience.
3+ years’ experience in research and/or consulting.
Experience executing quantitative research programs.
Experience turning data into insight – you want to provide actionable guidance to clients to help them improve their marketing and communications.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining superior quality.
Ability to manage project plans efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Thrives in a team environment.
Strong curiosity – you don’t like leaving questions unanswered, and no one needs to tell you to go look for new information that will help you better meet our clients’ needs.
Strong working proficiency with MS Office (specifically MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and basic knowledge of SPSS.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills – the potential to tell killer stories.
