Aventine Properties LLC is a small successful tax grievance consulting and real estate firm. We are looking to add both full-time and intern systems personnel to assist with the development of our front and back end computer systems. Our philosophy has been is to build teams of smart/motivated people and then give them the opportunity to both develop and apply their skills. While we do have flexibility with respect to experience and exposure, we are always interested in candidates with expertise or exposure in building data scrapping and database tools, java scripts, django and/or other similar areas. Exposure or experience in database systems and a C/C++-like programming environment would be a plus although this is not mandatory. The applicant should be capable of working independently and be able to maintain scheduled (but flexible) weekly time commitments, and have a positive attitude. This position is in person in our Huntington Station NY office.
