Job Description
The Learning & Development Specialist II is responsible for enhancing the competencies and skills of individual teammates by designing, developing, and conducting learning programs that will boost teammate’s workplace performance in alliance with our core values. This person is responsible for facilitating and organizing instructor-led content for high impact training. Partners with Manager of Learning & Development, business leaders and other teammates to develop and deliver training
Job Responsibilities:
Facilitates instructor-led sessions to small and medium-sized audiences in an engaging and effective way
Demonstrates considerable organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once.
Designs learning content following AvidXchange L&D standards and templates
Provides project support including content design, copy editing, formatting, etc.
Designs and develops Level 1 eCourses using rapid aurthoring tools (e.g. Articulate, Camtasia, etc.)
Fosters and builds collaborative relationships with internal partners to develop content for instructor-led training.
Required Education and Skills:
Familiar with adult learning theory and key principles of instructional design
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or closely related field
Minimum 2 years of professional work experience
Minimum of 1 year in an instructor-led training experience
Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Familiar with eLearning, video editing, audio editing, MS, emerging technologies
Familiar with using a Learning Management System (LMS)
Familiar with virtual classroom training platforms (Webex, Adobe Connect, etc.)
