    .Avionics Technician

    Job Summary:
    Propel Aviation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Technician to join our dynamic team in Miami. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft electronic systems, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems including communication, navigation, radar, autopilot, and flight control systems.

    • Perform operational and functional checks on avionics systems using specialized test equipment.

    • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.

    • Perform system upgrades and modifications on various aircraft platforms.

    • Document all work performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

    • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure aircraft meet all airworthiness standards.

    • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Avionics Technician (Part 145 experience preferred).

    • FAA Repairman Certificate or A&P license is a plus.

    • Proficient with standard avionics test equipment and hand tools.

    • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

    • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience with Garmin, Collins, or BendixKing avionics systems.

    • Familiarity with general aviation or light turbine aircraft.

    • Previous experience working in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
