Evoove, a premier staffing marketplace, is proud to partner with a leading aviation services company to source a skilled Avionics Technician.
This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics systems on a variety of helicopters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly skilled in avionics diagnostics, and experienced with multiple aircraft platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and repair avionics systems, including NAV/COM, GPS, autopilots, and passenger entertainment systems.
- Perform detailed wiring, mounting antennas, and configuring flight instruments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system malfunctions using schematics and test data.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the maintenance crew and Avionics Manager to coordinate repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records in line with repair station guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of avionics installation and repair experience.
- Hands-on rotary experience with at least two different airframes from separate manufacturers.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, teardown, and completions work.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on quality and safety.
- Certifications in aviation maintenance or electrical systems preferred.
Must have in-depth knowledge of multiple helicopter platforms, including:
o Airbus: H125 (AS350) and H130
o Bell: 407 and 412
o Agusta: 109 and 119
