We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avionics Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics systems. This includes a wide range of electronic and electrical components such as navigation systems, communication equipment, radar, flight controls, and more.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft avionics systems according to manufacturer specifications and FAA regulations.
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in avionics systems using specialized testing equipment and diagnostic software.
Repair or replace faulty components, including wiring, circuit boards, and other electronic assemblies.
Install and integrate new avionics equipment and systems.
Perform operational checks and functional tests on repaired or modified systems.
Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and pilots to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
Stay current with the latest advancements in avionics technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology or related field preferred.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Avionics Technician in a general aviation environment
Strong understanding of electronics, electrical systems, and avionics principles.
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and specialized software.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
