Avoca Risk Underwriting Solutions (ARUS) is the “back office” company that supports several sister companies including Avondale Insurance Associates (AIA). Due to AIA’s consistent annual growth, we are currently seeking a Fiduciary Accountant to work closely with the existing Finance Team from our Manchester, NH office. The ideal candidate is ambitious, detailed oriented, and career-minded with strong analytical and reconciliation abilities. Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Fiduciary Accountant of ARUS, you will develop the knowledge and skill set to report AIA’s business results to Management and AIA’s insurance markets. Job Responsibilities:
· Identify incoming deposits and apply/allocate to applicable invoices.
· Reconcile bank account balances to accounting system and properly identify and track reconciling items.
· Generate and confirm figures on a variety of spreadsheet based and system based reports.
· Communicate and resolve payment discrepancies and overdue invoices with internal and external parties.
· Assist with internal and external audits.

Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in accounting or 5-7 years of insurance accounting experience.
· Strong analytical, problem solving, self-direction, and decision-making skills with general understanding of accounting concepts and procedures.
· Understanding of bordereaux and timely, contractual reporting.
· Ability to accurately apply cash receipts and initiate disbursements per contracts.
· Proficient in Excel, and other data analysis software.
· Ability to learn proprietary UW software.
· Understanding of accounting software applications and ability to learn MultiView accounting system.
· Ability to reconcile revenue accounts.
