Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an overnight shift caretaker for a deaf and non-verbal individual. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to the individual during the overnight hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. this shift is 9pm -5am Wednesday,Thursday, and Sunday weekly.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overnight care and supervision for the individual

• Assist with personal care tasks, redirection

• Monitor the individual's health and well-being throughout the night

• Assist with communication using sign language or other alternative methods

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the individual

• Respond to any emergencies or issues that may arise during the night

• Keep detailed records of care provided and any significant events

Qualifications:

• Some experience working with individuals who are deaf and non-verbal preferred

• Proficiency in sign language or willingness to learn

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and patient demeanor

• Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly

• Reliable and punctual

• Must be able to work overnight shifts
