Adjunct Faculty Lighting Design - Department of Theater Arts
GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE
This position is responsible for supervising production, processing, and sanitation activities to ensure production demands are met while producing a safe, quality food.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years supervisory experience in a production environment involving efficiency improvement/monitoring with strong safety and quality management. Food processing experience preferable.
SKILLS: Excellent oral and written communications skills, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage, motivate, and train people. Bilingual/Biliterate preferred.
ADDITIONAL: Dynamic, hands-on ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, team-oriented food-processing environment. Must have the ability to make decisions, maintain regular and acceptable attendance, follow directions, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow posted work rules/procedures and to accept constructive criticism.
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONS
INTERNAL: Plant Manager, Materials, Shipping, Supervisors, Leads, Maintenance, Quality Control, Finance, and Human Resources
EXTERNAL: Auditors
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
BA/BS, degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT
Supervises between 80-100 Hourly employees.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to maneuver around an array of equipment. Must be able to work in a cold environment. Will have some exposure to fumes and airborne particles.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
WORK HOUR REQUIREMENT
Flexibility to work both a variety of shifts and hours.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel as needed.
