About Bark Social:

Dogs. Beer. Coffee – Bark Social brings out the fun between dogs and humans with a private, monitored off-leash dog park and an indoor/outdoor beer garden & coffee bar. Featuring a play space, casual eating and curated dog merchandise, our goal is to engage, delight, and support the dog-loving communities we serve.

Bark Social has an aggressive growth plan. It launched its first location in Bethesda, Maryland in March of 2021, and will open its second location in Baltimore, Maryland in the next couple of weeks. Locations three, four and five are in the works.

Our need:

We are looking for Bartenders to ensure our guests and dogs feel welcome, special, safe, and comfortable at all times. This means engaging with our guests, getting to know them and their dogs and always, always being friendly and engaging with guests. We offer a nice variety of beer, wine, and spirits. This is an outdoor bar which requires bartenders to move around the park and provide guests beverages and start tabs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Properly check guest ID’s and start tabs

• Take orders and serve our customers

  • We offer a small selection of mixed drinks, wine, beer, and seasonal cocktails
  • Our bartenders take cafe food and beverage orders as well as alcohol orders
  • Ensure all of our drinks are served according to our standards

• Understand and manage our “Pour My Beer” wall.

  • We have 20 different types of beer on our beer wall–know and understand styles and varieties.
  • Understand how the beer wall works and walk and help customers through the process

• Ensure guests are having fun but being safe

• Get to know our guests and members:

• Keep an eye on general park cleanliness:

• Ensure all available dog water bowls are full, clean and spread throughout park

• Sweep mulch and hair from patio (including area underneath auto-fill water bowls)

• Spot clean/dilute urine near the bar

• Clean park tables, rearranging furniture as needed
