    BAS Field Technician

    Summary: One of the fastest growing Building Automation integrators is looking for their next BAS Field Technician for HVAC automation and control systems installation, start-up, and commissioning to cover the Greater Philadelphia area. If you're looking for an opportunity to advance in the construction and mechanical industry and work on large projects throughout the Delaware Valley, this is the opportunity for you!

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute point-to-point check-out, commissioning, diagnostic, and maintenance procedures on building automation systems.
    • Troubleshoot and repair system panels, including communications equipment, circuit boards, power supplies, controls, sensors, and transducers.
    • Edit computer programs for building automation system points.
    • Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and emergency service calls.
    • Maintain project-related documentation.
    • Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with company members, clients, subcontractors, and other contacts.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Understanding of control logic.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus additional specialized courses or short-term training (one year or less) with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the field of building automation controls, or an Associate’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience.
    • Understanding of the construction industry with emphasis in mechanical/electrical fields..

    Skills:

    • Knowledge of Automated Logic commissioning tools and field circuit debugging skills.
    • Knowledge of DDC control theory and applications pertaining to the HVAC/Control.
    • Prior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation.
    • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
    • Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment more than 8 feet above grade, and lifting items up to 50lbs.
