At Security 1st Title, we provide Title Insurance and Escrow Services for customers buying, selling, and refinancing their homes. We protect property rights through the careful examination of each property history to ensure they are free of liens and other title defects. Position Details – BBQ Assistant - PART TIME

The BBQ Assistant is a key position that supports the team by assisting with preparation, setup, operation, and clean-up of company barbecues and sales events.

Specific job responsibilities include:

• Responsible for all aspects of equipment set up and food preparation for company events.
• Prepare materials and supplies for sales functions.
• Coordinate and plan for public barbecue events.
• Organize and stage inventory at the warehouse before and after public gatherings.
• Travel occasionally within the state of Kansas for company affairs.
• Train continuously with smoker and barbecue equipment to gain better knowledge and understanding of gear.
• Responsible for sustaining equipment maintenance.
• Prepare equipment before events and cleanup equipment afterwards.
• Load and unload vehicles with event supplies for barbecues and sales functions.
• Understand and utilize all safety and sanitation practices and report any accidents.
• Assist with taking inventory and placing appropriate orders for warehouse stock.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and overnight travel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel, as needed.
• Experience driving vehicles while towing trailers of different lengths.
• Extensive knowledge of sanitation and food handling practices.
• Experience operating barbeque equipment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail.
• Dependability, strong work ethic and punctuality are a must.
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast paced environment
