Behavior Analyst consult, Parent Trainer, Clinical Supervisor - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
In this unique role, you will work one to one with client to establish the skill and train parents and caregivers to teach skills and manage behaviors using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with their children or loved ones who have special needs.
This opportunity is perfect for experienced BCBA’s with parent training experience who enjoy working directly with clients and their caregivers.
As a behavior analyst and parent trainer, you will maintain a caseload of about 10 clients, which entails conducting intake assessments, using standardized assessment tools, writing reports, working on individualized goals with families, and reporting to the Regional Center every 6 months.
There are no RBT/BT’s or midlevel staff are involved in these cases. You have full control over your caseload and schedule.
This role is clinical-based and does not focus on company administrative tasks. There is no requirement for conducting trainings, interviews or routine office work unrelated to your caseload.
Position: Full-Time
Part-time on an hourly of $70 per hour based on your experience.
Full- Time range between 98K to 103K based on your experience
Responsibilities:
Work closely with parents and caregivers in both home, community and day programs to equip them with the necessary skills and strategies to support your client's behavior and development effectively. Provide guidance on implementing behavior management techniques and evidence-based interventions within the home environment and Community.
The billable expectation for this role is 30 hours per week, split between direct and indirect tasks related to your client’s needs. Each case will allow you up to 30% of indirect billable to work on materials. 70% is direct work with your client and their caregivers. The BCBA is responsible for maintaining a schedule, data, session notes, and converting appointments in a timely manner.
Depending on the client profile, some direct work with our clients is required to conduct baseline observations, build rapport and utilize Behavior Skills Training.
Conduct standardized behavioral and developmental assessments such as FAST or Vineland to identify the person’s clinical need and develop individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and educators, day programs, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to intervention. Share insights, progress, and recommendations to develop integrated treatment plans.
Design comprehensive behavior support plans based on functional behavior assessments. Identify and prioritize target behaviors, outline intervention strategies, and monitor progress through data collection and analysis.
Provide training and ongoing supervision to the caregiver(s) who will be implementing the client's ABA interventions during the sessions in the present of the BCBA and outside of the session time. Ensure fidelity of intervention techniques and provide regular feedback and support to the team.
Continuously assess progress through data collection and analysis. Modify treatment plans as necessary based on the child's evolving needs, making data-driven decisions to maximize outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes, progress reports, and behavior plans. Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
Compensation:
Part-time on an hourly rate of $70 per hour based on your experience.
Full- Time range between 98K to 103K based on your experience
You will be paid on a bi-weekly basis, and your hours will be tracked and submitted to our payroll department.
You will be responsible to track, scheduling and convert your appointment on ReThink software.
Requirements:
Must hold a current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA, providing one-to-one parent coaching and direct ABA services to children with developmental delays or behavioral challenges.
Thorough understanding of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management techniques, functional behavior assessments, and positive behavior support strategies.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with special needs and their families in a compassionate and supportive manner. Patience, understanding, and empathy are crucial in this role.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to guide treatment planning and interventions. Ability to make evidence-based decisions for the best outcomes.
Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.
Adherence to professional and ethical standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and local regulatory bodies.
