Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Lomita, CA
Reliatus Behavioral Health is assisting in recruitment for a growing and dynamic organization dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities in the Lomita, CA area. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
About the Position:
This is a field based position.
The BCBA will be responsible for providing comprehensive ABA services, including assessment, treatment plan development, implementation, and supervision. This position requires a strong understanding of ABA principles and practices, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment results.
- Implement behavior analytic services as outlined in the treatment plan.
- Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) on the implementation of behavior plans and data collection procedures.
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Provide parent training and consultation on behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists, educators, and physicians, to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of ABA.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
- Experience working with children and adolescents with ASD and other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, assessment tools, and intervention techniques.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience supervising and training RBTs is preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
