Job Summary
We are seeking BCBA and BCaBA Practicum Students who are looking to complete their required supervision hours while gaining hands-on experience working as Behavioral Technicians (BTs).
This is a great opportunity for students currently enrolled in an ABA graduate or undergraduate program who need supervised fieldwork to become a BCBA or BCaBA.
Responsibilities
Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism as a Behavioral Technician
Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA
Accurately collect and record data on client progress
Participate in supervision sessions with a BCBA to complete practicum requirements
Assist with behavior assessments, treatment planning, and parent training under supervision
Follow BACB ethical guidelines and maintain professionalism at all times
Work in home, clinic, school, and community settings as needed
Qualifications
Enrolled in an ABA program (Master’s for BCBA, Bachelor’s for BCaBA)
Actively pursuing BCBA or BCaBA certification and needing supervised fieldwork hours
Willing to work as a Behavioral Technician while completing practicum hours
Strong interpersonal, communication, and data collection skills
Ability to work with children in various environments
Must pass a background check and complete necessary training
