    Business Development Manager – Job Description (2+ years sales experience in pharmaceutical related fields is a must)

    Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company’s goals. We need an experienced, driven and self motivated individual with experience in the pharmaceutical clinical trials space. The individual who takes on this role could very well be the individual who takes over control of the company in two years. This individual will ideally understand the Clinical Trial Space and have experience with Phase 1 - 4 studies

    Key Responsibilities:

    Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Research and identify potential clients, markets, and partnerships to expand the company’s portfolio.

    Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.

    Sales and revenue generation: Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.

    Market research and analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.

    Proposal development: Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.

    Collaboration and coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.

    Negotiation and closing: Lead negotiations with potential clients and partners, ensuring favorable terms and successful deal closures.

    Reporting and forecasting: Track and report on business development activities, including pipeline progress, revenue forecasts, and performance metrics.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

    Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.

    Strong understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

    Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.

    Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Strong organizational and time management skills.

    Preferred Skills:

    Experience in [insert industry, e.g., pharmaceutical, clinical trials, or relevant sector].

    Ability to develop and execute strategic plans effectively.

    Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
