Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Job Description:

We seek a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our medical staff by performing various clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures- Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and other patient information- Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples for testing and analysis- Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health records (EHR) system- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions- Assist with scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of a medical assistant and phlebotomy training program- Current certification as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist- Strong organizational and communication skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment- CPR certification is preferred

- No Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is required
