BIM Technician – Milwaukee/Madison, WI – Full-Time/Onsite

Job Overview: As a BIM Technician (CAD/BIM/Revit Detailer), you will play a key role in supporting
construction projects through the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related software
technologies. Working closely with senior design team members, Project Managers, and jobsite
Foremen, you'll develop 2D and 3D drawings to facilitate construction layouts, improve jobsite
productivity, and aid in cost estimation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale

Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Software and Technology:
• Use Revit, MEP, Navisworks, MS Office, Bluebeam, and Robotic Total Station software to
model electrical system components and create detailed installation drawings.
• Coordinate installations with other trades and provide sub-assembly and prefabrication
information.
Revit Model Development:
• Develop Revit model families for general and project-specific needs. • Document
Production:
• Produce shop drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, and other project
documentation.
Coordination Meetings:
• Attend internal and external coordination meetings to identify and resolve potential issues
early in the project lifecycle.
BIM Coordination and Clash Detection:
• Represent the company professionally in BIM coordination and clash detection meetings,
working with the project team to resolve clashes and ensure compliance with customers'
BIM requirements.
Electronic File Management:

• Assist in managing and organizing electronic project files as required.
Ideal Candidate:
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and working knowledge of other 3D design software, including
Navisworks and AutoCAD MEP.
• Basic understanding of commercial construction projects, including print reading, building
coordination, and trade sequencing.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively with
project teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience with BIM coordination and clash detection is a plus!
