 BK Livsey, Inc. (Independent Contractor for FedEx Ground) is looking for a reliable and dedicated leader with a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills to join our team!

This is a full-time position with competitive wages.  

AS A BUSINESS CONTACT (BC) WITH FEDEX GROUND/ BK LIVSEY, INC. YOU WILL:

• Manage approximately 10-15 drivers and delivery routes in the 23462 area
• Manage all duties associated with morning dispatch
• Ensure technology needed for the day is operational
• Monitor driver’s service throughout the day via MyGroundBiz/Ground Cloud until all driver’s have returned to the facility
• Field calls from drivers and FedEx
• Confirm driver work schedules weekly to ensure proper coverage
• Assist with Dynamic Route Optimization (DRO) System to plan for next day service
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and quality
• Address customer service issues/complaints in a timely and productive manner
• Enforce personnel policies
• Assist in the interview process and training of new employees
• Conduct employee performance evaluations; address ongoing training needs
• Occasionally participate in the role of driver on days that demand it

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean driving record 
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Driving experience (must be able to drive a variety of vehicle types)
• Management experience

• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
• Ability to lift 75 lbs; ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
• Knowledge of Federal DOT and FedEx Safety Regulations.

COMPENSATION: 

Starting at $47,000 - Salary will be commensurate with experience and knowledge.  BC's have the opportunity to work a 6th day per week for additional compensation.

SCHEDULE:

• Varied; Typical work hours are 8am-5pm
• Must have weekend availability
