Open Call for Internship Applications
BLH Technologies, Inc. (BLH), in partnership with the National Library of Medicine (NLM), will be hosting summer interns between June and August 2021. Interns will work directly with the NLM Office of Engagement and Training (OET), working on projects in the areas of library and information science, research, communications, and training. Deadline for applications is May 7, 2021.
We are aware that this call comes at a time of continuing uncertainty around COVID-19, and we continue to monitor the situation. It is possible that most or all of the interns' time will be spent working virtually.
SUMMER INTERNSHIP
We invite internship applications from candidates with education across the humanities and social sciences (including library and information science, public health, communications, and others). Candidates from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are encouraged to apply.
Interns will primarily be responsible for conducting research and collecting data related to minority serving institutions (MSIs) biomedical and public health curriculum. Additional projects may include updating training materials and website content, developing storyboards and data visualizations, and supporting evaluations.
