BODYROK offers high intensity, low impact workouts that will tone, define and sculpt your body & mind in just 45 minutes. Our instructors have earned the reputation for delivering some of the most challenging and comprehensive workouts across the nation and we’re excited to continue to grow the Chicago region. We combine our proprietary Hybrid Pilates method taught on custom-built reformers to deliver one of the most efficient full-body workouts there is. Our trainers are connected to a microphone instructing to heart-pumping music in high-energy studios. The BODYROK method is built to be high-intensity & low-impact leaving our clients energized and feeling great!

Studio locations: River North & West Loop
Work hours & availability
The Area Fitness Manager is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours/week over the course of at least five days.
The specific work schedule must be adjusted as required to ensure that the studios operate in a safe, professional, and profitable manner at all times.
The Area Fitness Manager is to teach a class as needed, regularly teaching 20 classes a week.
As the primary local representative of the business, you are expected to be available via cell phone, text message, and email at all times, in the event of any emergency situation that may arise at the studio.
In the event that you will not be available at specific times (i.e., taking a weekend away with your family), then arrangements must be made with your Direct Report to ensure that someone is always available “on-call” for emergencies.
Responsibilities and Duties but not limited to:
Utilization goals per studio
Implement studio events/theme classes
Equipment maintenance reporting - All Studios
Instructor scheduling
Instructor recruitment
Instructor training
Instructor performance reviews
Instruct classes
Instruct continuing education
Program implementation & strategy
Create monthly annoucements
Monitor instructor milestones/pay raises
Studio reporting to management staff i.e. cleanliness, operations, professionalism, etc.
Conduct instructor documentation/write-ups
Instructor interviewing & hiring
Assist with staff appreciation/birthday gifts
Be available for weekly team calls
Qualifications:
Attended a minimum of 10 BODYROK classes
Basic understanding of anatomy and biomechanics
Flexible teaching schedule
Can be scheduled to teach at least 3 days per week
CPR and Liability Insurance (special rates and access given upon completion of training)
Preferred 1-year minimum experience instructing one of the following: Pilates, Circuit Training, Indoor Cycling, Bootcamp, HITT, Boxing/Kickboxing, or Group Fitness.
Physical Requirements
Ability to demonstrate BODYROK method exercises and routines to clients
Assisting clients in exercises to minimize injury and promote fitness
Ability to modify exercises according to clients' fitness levels
Teach effectively and safely during all classes.
