The Aielli Group is looking for multiple BOH positions, to be part of our team. As a Back of House Team Member, you will be an integral part of our kitchen operations, supporting our chefs and cooking staff in delivering high-quality dishes. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and assisting in various culinary tasks. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to food safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the direction of the kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Accurately measure and mix ingredients as required for various recipes.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly and labeled according to safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and organizing deliveries.
- Support the team in plating and presenting dishes for service.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures and maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
