DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with day-to-day functions of the Payroll/HR department. Assist with the processing of the bi-weekly payroll for the agency: including reviewing data entry for salary changes, withholdings, various voluntary and involuntary deductions, job titles and program transfers for accuracy. Calculate final pay for former employees. Review paper timesheets for per diems and adjustments. Follow up with managers on timecard questions and missing information on the timecards. Assist with time tracking and time off benefits. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll. Participate in the rotation of conducting new employee orientations. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
HR and Payroll experience helpful but will consider experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role. Good written and verbal communication skills, BA and/or background in Human Resources field preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
