BackGrid USA, Inc. is looking to hire 2-3 Temporary Photo Editors to join our Editing team at our Redondo Beach office. This position would interact with our contributors and sales team in a fun, fast paced environment. The role would report directly to the Sr. Photo Editor. This position requires 1-year minimum experience with Photoshop CC 2017 or Lightroom, along with basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Email, Internet).

We are looking for the right candidates who we can rely on to complete an archive editing assignment. The approximate duration of this temporary position is 4 months. The position will start on May 15, 2018.

Salary - $14-$16/HR Work Schedule - Part-Time or Full-Time Shifts Available Job Type - Temporary, Non-exempt classification

• Prepare archived images and video for display on our digital library
• Cropping, color correction, retouching, picture selection
• Create stories in relation to images and video being displayed on our digital library
• Possesses a strong eye to recognize fashion brands and trends
• Ability to execute quick research skills and turnaround times
• Speak in professional manner with worldwide contributors, clients and staff
• Research celebrity/entertainment news stories, and stay up-to-date on current news, gossip and fashion trends Minimum Experience, and Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Should have a minimum of one year's work experience editing images and/or video for editorial purposes
• Must be computer literate
• Desired Qualifications:
• 1+ years of video editing preferred
• 1+ years of photo editing preferred
• Knowledge of celebrities and pop culture
• Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) desired Computer Skills Required:
• Photoshop CS5 and higher
• Lightroom 4 and higher
• iMovie
• Final Cut
• Microsoft Office
• Microsoft Excel
• Mac OSX
• Computer literate
• 60-70 WPM Typing
