Job Description

The Backend Software Engineer Intern will report to the Senior Director of Development and focus on creating software and applications for a diverse range of users, from consumers to major financial institutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of developers to bring new products from prototype to production.
• Produce efficient and elegant code using programming skills (Java, AWS, Spring, NoSQL DB) to develop new applications. tools.
• Identify and translate customer requirements into detailed architecture and design.
• Conduct detailed unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor's program in Computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field of study
• Return to school in Fall 2025 to complete degree
• Proficiency in programming languages Java.
• Experience with AWS technologies and microservices architecture.
• Exposure to any relational or no SQL DB and associated tools
