Bailey's Fine Jewelry is looking for a sales assistant at our flagship Village District location. If you are passionate about serving people, delivering exceptional customer service and are excited about jewelry, this is the right place for you! The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and able to communicate professionally in person and over the phone. To be the best asset to your team and patron, you will stay informed on all merchandise trainings, store policies, procedures, and promotions. You will manage a department by keeping displays clean, current, organized and fully replenished. You will assist sales associates with clienteling to their patrons, emailing and calling patrons on their birthday and anniversaries, and following up on patron appointments. Follow-up will be key to your success in this role. You will purchase flowers for our Bailey Brides, execute and mail all appraisals and certificates of sale, track diamond presentations and sales, and assist in execution, follow-up, processing, and direct communication to the patron regarding special orders. You will help with managing merchandise and stock balance requests, and preparing for inventory. You will become an expert in all merchandising support tools including stock select, stock information, OPT, VDB, digital directories and requesting diamonds.
