Job Summary We are seeking a Baker to join the team at our busy bakery! In this role, you will prepare a variety of cookies and pastries. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious cookies and pastries. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, we’d like to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead

Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas

stay updated on current baking trends to incorporate into new creations

adjust recipes for large-scale production while maintaining consistency in flavor and appearance

Bake a variety of cookies, brownies, and pastries

maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards

Prepare custom orders

work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations during product launches

Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred

Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment

strong understanding of various baking techniques and ingredients

excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of food safety practices

Familiarity with gluten-free, vegan or other specialty baking styles

Previous experience in product development

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Team player

Available for early morning shifts

Immediate raises are based on work performance. $18.00 is our probation period trial amount.
