    The Opportunity: Lincoln-Goldfinch Law is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join our Texas-based team. This candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel related to Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, conducting research for clients, attending any court hearings, and offering guidance and support to individuals throughout the process. Responsibilities: • Onboard new bankruptcy cases • Meet with and sign prospective clients • Attend hearings • Advise clients on the options available to them through bankruptcy • Independently manage cases from filing through discharge • Stay informed of developments in bankruptcy law • Request/approve drafts of petitions, pleadings, and motions • Respond to client questions via phone and email • Manage legal assistant’s tasks • Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications: • Must have a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas • Must be admitted to practice in the Western District of Texas • Two or more years of experience in bankruptcy law is preferred • Ability to attend court hearings and travel as needed • Understanding of the legal procedures in Texas • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in filing petitions in Texas bankruptcy courts • Knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and relevant local rules • Dedicated to providing clients with superior service • Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 yearly
