Bolero Restaurante at Europa Village takes our guests on a culinary journey throughout the country of Spain. Our menu celebrates the centuries old tradition of dining together, tapas style. Tapas are prepared typically in bite size offerings and made to be shared.

    Europa Village is looking for a full-time Banquet Chef. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the culinary arts with a self-motivated personality. Fine dining experience is a plus. Must have a minimum of 3 years of culinary experience and 1 year of banquet experience.

    Executive Chef

    Responsibilities Specific to Banquet Chef

    Possess and live Europa Village core values.

    Reviews Banquet Event Orders (BEO) on a daily basis and makes note of any changes.

    Able to coordinate banquet production and plating with the Executive Chef.

    Establishes the day's priorities and assigns production and preparation tasks for the kitchen team to execute.

    Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to team.

    Takes physical inventory of specified food items for daily inventory.

    Assists the Sales and Catering departments and banquet team with banquets, parties and other special events.

    Assists the Executive Chef in banquet menu development and execution.

    Responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

    Ensures that all staff prepares the menu items following recipes in accordance with Bolero at Europa Village's standards.

    Reviews sales and food cost with the Executive Chef to ensure that the banquet kitchen is meeting budgeted costs.

    Monitors the performance of banquet kitchen team and ensures all procedures are completed to Europa Village's standards.

    Assists the Executive Chef with banquet menu planning and food purchasing.

    Plans and manages food quantities and plating requirements for all banquet functions.

    Maintains food preparation handling and correct storage standards.

    Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

    Follows proper handling and correct temperature of all food products.

    Able to plan and execute multiple banquet functions.

    Other duties as needed.

    Be hospitable, welcoming, and exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary.

    Attention to detail.

    Food Handler Certification required.

    Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
