As a Banquet Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our events run smoothly, providing high-quality meals that exceed our guests' expectations. This position requires excellent culinary skills, the ability to work under pressure, and effective communication with both kitchen staff and event coordinators.

    Responsibilities

    Prepare and cook high-quality meals for banquets and events according to established recipes and standards.

    Supervise kitchen staff during meal preparation and service to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.

    Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies, ordering ingredients, and minimizing waste.

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

    Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions for guests.

    Manage shifts effectively, ensuring that all food is prepared on time for service.

    Provide support to other kitchen staff as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.

    Requirements

    Proven experience in culinary roles, preferably in banquet or large-scale food service settings.

    Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.

    Knowledge of inventory control processes and food preparation techniques.

    Familiarity with kitchen management practices, including sanitation standards and safety protocols.

    Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and service.

    Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

    Experience in both seated/plated and stationed buffet.
