Banquet Set-Up (Houseman)
Position Summary:
Banquet Set-Up staff play an essential role in preparing and breaking down event spaces. You will ensure all banquet rooms are correctly arranged, clean, and ready for guests, helping deliver seamless event experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up tables, chairs, linens, stages, podiums, and A/V equipment based on event specs
Move and store banquet furniture and supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and banquet service areas
Assist banquet servers and captains with additional setup or transitions during events
Conduct breakdown and reset of event spaces after functions
Skills & Requirements:
Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs regularly
Comfortable with physical labor and working varied shifts
Attention to detail and understanding of event layout and flow
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Prior experience in hospitality or event services a plus
