We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar at our new upscale establishment, Stewarts Croquet & Cocktails and our restaurant next door, Gemelle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and a passion for hospitality. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage staff, ensure high-quality service, and maintain an inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfaction.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock to minimize waste.
Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional service while adhering to safety and health regulations.
Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance service quality.
Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to maintain positive relationships.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
Experience
Proven experience in food service or bar management within an upscale environment is required.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage production processes.
Experience in staff training and development, with the ability to lead by example.
A background in the hospitality industry is essential for understanding guest expectations and delivering exceptional experiences.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
