Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee the beverage operations at both The French Pantry and Little Miss Ha. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of wines, including Old and New World varieties, as well as experience managing ordering and inventory for the bar. Additionally, this role requires collaborating with bartenders to develop and maintain creative, seasonal cocktail menus. The Bar Manager will ensure the smooth operation of the bar and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Bar Operations:
Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Work closely with bartenders to create and maintain innovative cocktail menus.
Ensure that all drinks are prepared and served to the highest quality standards.
Wine and Cocktail Expertise:
Possess a strong understanding of wine, with the ability to curate and manage wine selections for both concepts.
Collaborate with bartenders to develop new cocktails, ensuring the use of seasonal and high-quality ingredients.
Educate and train staff on wine and cocktail offerings, providing guidance on pairings and recommendations.
Inventory and Ordering:
Manage the inventory of wine, spirits, and bar supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Place orders and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Monitor costs and minimize waste.
Qualifications:
Strong wine knowledge, with Old and New World wines.
Experience in cocktail menu development and working collaboratively with bartenders.
Experience managing bar inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
