Job Title: Barback
Reports to: Management: GM, AGM, Hospitality Manager, and Floor Manager.
Summary: Prepares and serves cocktails, serves food items in the bar area, and handles currency transactions by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
● Ensure that the bar is fully stocked with drinks, ice, glasses and necessary supplies.
● Place and replace bottles of liquor, beer and other products in the designated shelves.
● Clean and maintain the bar to ensure a tidy and orderly environment.
● Pick up empty glasses and plates, and clean all 5 work areas to maintain hygiene.
● Assist bartenders by providing ingredients and utensils as per be necessary.
● Collaborate in the preparation of cocktails, preparing garnishes and ensuring the availability of inputs.
● Address customer needs, such as providing water, napkins or any other basic request.
● Collaborate with bar staff to ensure efficient and quality service.
● High quality.
● Keep track of inventory and notify management staff about any replenishment needs.
● Ensure that products are labeled and stored properly.
● Provide additional support during special events or periods of high volume.
● Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive experience for customers
Requirements
● Previous experience in similar roles is preferred.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced and pressured environment.
● Good physical condition, as the job may involve lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
● Proactive attitude and teamwork skills.
● Basic knowledge of drinks and cocktails is an advantage.
