Summary of Position:

As a bar back you will be responsible for maintaining stock, assisting during service, and providing support for all bartenders’ needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain stock of the bar (beer, wine, liquor, etc.)

Clean/wipe down bar area.

Wash glasses and dishes.

Handle drink spills and broken glassware.

Restock and replenish liquor, garnishes, and bar supplies.

Empty trash.

Keep bar station and service areas clean and organized.

Ensure outdoor bars are fully stocked with beverages.

Act as the point of contact between outdoor bartender and indoor bartender.

Qualifications and Requirements:

No previous restaurant experience required.

Must be 18 years or older.

Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop.

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).

Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 50 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
