    The Honu, in Dunedin Fl is looking for an experienced Barback to join our team. Three to four lunch and/or dinner shifts available weekly with the option of picking up more. As a barback you will be responsible for supporting the bartenders in preparing and servicing the bar in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. This position will require you to work the front of the bar as well as the back bar to ensure our guests' needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

    Knowledge or passion for craft cocktails, beer and wine

    Dedication to hospitality and service

    A good sense of humor and positive attitude

    Ability to multitask, especially in high volume situations

    Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization

    Willingness to learn

    Check with and assist the bartender to stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to liquor, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.

    Maintain cleanliness of bar area, refrigerators and storage areas in accordance with federal, state, local and company codes.

    To extend a courteous, friendly and professional greeting to guests as they arrive, and to thank them as they depart

    Qualifications:

    Stocking and organizing bar (must be able to lift 50lbs)

    Basic understanding of federal, state, and local liquor laws

    Serve Safe certified a plus

    High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

    Must be as least 21 years of age

    Able to work productively and independently with little supervision

    Ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines

    Must have good judgment, versatility, flexibility

    Self Motivated, passionate, and dirven
