Barber Lab Assistant Substitute: Assists Faculty with educating and training students in various barbering techniques and skills as a substitute instructor.
This is a part-time position of 19 hours or less per week with an hourly salary of $26.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
75% Uses knowledge to assist faculty members in the classroom and laboratory as directed.
20% Monitors classroom and laboratory and assists students to ensure they are following directions given by Faculty and Director of Cosmetology.
5% Performs others duties as assigned by the Director of Cosmetology.

Qualifications:
Must hold a current Texas a valid Texas Cosmetology/Barber or Esthetics Operator or Nail Technician License.
Requires two years work experience.
Two to four years' experience in a community college setting is preferred.
Must have demonstrated ability to engage students in the learning process and proven commitment to student success.
Must maintain a collegial attitude with college community as well as outside entities.
Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments.
Must have the the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
