Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers to our drive-through only coffee shop and prepare their coffee orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their drinks, food and experience at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Welcoming and engaging with customers with a smile and great energy

Take food and beverage orders

Explain the menu items to customers

Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex

Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency

Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

Familiarity with food safety guidelines

Barista experience a plus, but not required

ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification a plus

Excellent customer service skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to handle money and cash register

Social media skills a plus
