    Bartender $2.13-5.25 Hrly + Tips

    As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving each guest courteously, quickly and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant and enthusiastic attitude, as well as following guidelines for legal and responsible service of alcohol. Duties of this position will include taking orders, suggestive selling, making drinks using recipes, managing inventory, prepping bar items, receiving money and accurately counting back change, being responsible for all cash issued and received at your register during your shift, and counting down the drawer at the end of the shift to ensure accuracy. A qualified applicant must be 21 years of age, have excellent communication skills, able to lift 15-25 pounds, and stand for periods of up to 6 hours in length.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare and Serve Beverages: Skillfully mix and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, and other beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.

    Wine Expertise: Guide guests through the wine list, provide recommendations, and assist in pairing wines with menu items.

    Customer Engagement: Build relationships with guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.

    Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

    Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing bar inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and reducing waste.

    Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as alcohol service laws and policies.

    Team Collaboration: Work closely with the bar and service team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.

    Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a wine bar or upscale establishment.

    Strong knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and tasting techniques.

    Proficiency in crafting cocktails and understanding mixology principles.

    Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or similar) is a plus.

    Passion for wine and the hospitality industry.
