We are looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. Benefits • Employee Rate at IHG Hotels • Free On-Site Parking • Free Employee Meals • Employee Referral Program Responsibilities: • Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system • Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages Qualifications: • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Experience with mixology and building new recipes and techniques • TN ABC License Required Compensation: $10 - $15 hourly
