Job Summary: The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to patrons, oversee the stock of liquor and bar supplies, and collect money for drinks served. The bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Benefits:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Receives orders from guests and waitstaff.
Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
Ensure that fruit and other garnishes are prepared prior to the opening of the bar.
Maintains the bar and keeps it clean, stocked, and organized.
Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
Keeps bar supplied with snacks.
Stock and replenish bar area, assist in putting away beverage orders.
Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
Collects money from guests for drinks prepared and served.
Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to guests who are intoxicated or disruptive.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving guests.
Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative guests.
Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.
Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
Must be able to work as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
RBS certification and training required.
At least one year of related experience preferred.
Valid food handler card, or the ability to obtain one.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks.
Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately.
Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
Must be legal drinking age or older.
