    Position: Experienced Bartender

    What you'll do:

    Quickly and efficiently deliver food/drink to tables.

    Ensure ticket times and orders are going out correctly with any modifications by the guest. You're the last line of defense!

    Maintain a clean working environment.

    Demonstrate composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

    Have flexibility in working weekends and occasional holidays.

    Maintain a willingness to step in as needed to ensure the restaurant's smooth and efficient operation.

    Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of guests’ experience.

    Check identification of guest behavior to limit potential problems and liability related to excessive drinking.

    Take drink and food orders from guests and beverage orders from servers.

    Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant’s standard drink recipes.

    Learns the names and personally recognize our regulars.

    Wash and sterilize glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.

    Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks for bar patrons.

    Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.

    Clear and reset tables in bar area.

    Present drink menus, make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.

    Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.

    Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.

    Balance bar till at the beginning and end of each shift

    Has excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing & serving cocktails.

    Comply with & uphold all food/beverage regulations.

    Attention to detail & presentation of each drink order.

    Contributes to daily, holiday & themed drink menus in collaboration with supervisor.

    Completes cleaning according to daily & weekly schedules.

    Assess customers’ needs & preferences.

    Upsells food/drinks to maximize profits.

    Educates customers on our menu concept & ingredients we use.

    Qualifications:

    Be 19 years of age.

    TIPS Certified

    Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.

    Must be able to work unsupervised.

    Must be available to work between the hours of 10:00 am to 1:00 am

    Must have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.

    Must be able to stand and work for up to 4 hours at a time.

    Must be able to perform repetitive motion work without the assistance of restraints, bracesor other incumbrances that limit range of motion or physical activity.

    Must be able to lift, move and shelve products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

    Must be able to work in temperatures exceeding 85* for extended periods of time.

    Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed.

    Be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

    Must possess qualities like adaptability, planning, problem solving, teamwork and multi-tasking.

    Must have above average drink knowledge of spirits, wine & beer and how to preparecocktails from line-build to garnish.

    Is self-motivated, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule.
