Qualifications & Skills: Restaurant experience required; bartending experience required. Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask effectively. To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Summary of Position: Bartender responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties, and collecting payment. To be a successful bartender, you should be polite with your customers and make sure they enjoy their drinks and meals. You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with all members of our team to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly. Bartenders will create classic and specialty drinks for both bar guests and dining room guests in a timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with guests, take orders and serve food and drinks
Socialize with guests to serve needs, preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and have cocktail recipes memorized.
Check guests’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Physical Demands:
Lifting and carrying of items not to exceed 50 lbs.
Must be in good physical condition to walk or stand throughout the entirety of a shift.
Extensive and prolonged walking, standing, bending, and reaching required.
Grasping and fine manipulation using hands required.
Ability to work up to 8-10 hours per day.
Other requirements:
Must have a current food handler’s card and Responsible Beverage Server ID
California workplace harassment training and/or any additional training required by law.
