Role Purpose: Overall, the role purpose of a bartender is to create a positive and enjoyable experience for guests by providing exceptional customer service, crafting delicious and creative drinks, and maintaining a welcoming and inviting atmosphere at the bar. Education & Qualifications:
Certifications in food safety and sanitation, such as ServSafe or Safe Food Handling and alcohol training.
Highschool or GED equivalent.
Physical Stamina and Endurance-ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks in a hot and demanding kitchen environment
Experience:
Bartenders should have prior experience working as bartenders in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
They should have a strong understanding of front-of-house operations, including customer service techniques, order taking, and making cocktails.
Desirable - Previous experience in a high volume restaurant.
