We are looking for an experienced Office Assistant who will organize the daily administrative operations of the company in our NY location.
You should be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. We also expect you to be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
The Office Assistant will report directly to the General Manager.
Perform HR functions, including new hire onboarding, conducting performance reviews, and addressing and responding to HR requests
Manage inventory and office supplies
Help with staff scheduling and planning of events
Help other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
3+ years' experience of working as an Office Assistant, or other relevant position
Significant experience with office management procedures
Good practical experience with “back-office” computer systems such as ERP, and MS Office
Good experience in managing office equipment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High school diploma; additional qualification (e.g. as an Administrator) will be a bonus
