Job Description
Battleground Canvassing is hiring canvassers to engage voters in Philadelphia, PA. This campaign is a grassroots effort advocating for progressive issues. Canvassers will mobilize specific communities of voters in an effort to increase voter turnout and elect Democrats. This is a great, entry-level position for people of all types with a passion for politics and community engagement. Canvassers should be able to work at least 15 hours a week, preferably weekdays or weeknights as well as weekends.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knock on doors for full, three-hour shifts in assigned areas Record all voter interaction accurately Sync data Cover own transportation and gas Be prompt and ready to work every shift
QUALIFICATIONS:
18+ years old Owns or has regular access to a legally registered vehicle A valid driver’s license Speaks English (although bilingual Spanish very welcome) Available 15+ hours a week Smartphone required Background check required
