Position: Controller

Location: El Paso, Texas

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree preferred)
• At least 5 years of Accounting experience with GAAP.
• Knowledge of U.S. Tax Codes (Income, Payroll, Unemployment, 941 Quarterly, Annual). Minimize Tax liabilities using authorized credits and deductions.
  
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and internal controls to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local rules and regulatory laws including tax reporting.
• Responsible for Financial Planning, Risks Assessment, Record-keeping, Month-End Closings, Reporting, Payroll, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Inventory Controls.
• High integrity, loyalty, and dependability. Attention to Details. Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency.  Ensures Compliance and prevents penalties.
• Consolidate accounting platforms and reconciliations for multiple entities. Performs internal Audits and resolves any inconsistencies.
• Maintains accurate Financial Records. Experience with SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Great Plains accounting software
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus
